International Print Exchange and Exhibition

I initiated and organized the International Print Exchange for six years in partnership with Manitoba Printmakers Association, the Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts in China, the Visual Arts Centre in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Graphics Society, the Ottawa School of Art, the German Chinese Friendship Society, the Ken Segal Gallery in Winnipeg, and Proof Gallery in Toronto. The International Print Exchange held its first exhibition and exchange in 2002. The annual event is now organized by Sheila Jonah through Proof Gallery in Toronto. It has been going for 14 years.

The International Print Exchange and Exhibition provides an opportuntiy for printmakers from different geographical locations to exchange and exhibit their work. The animal from the Chinese zodiac serves as the theme for the prints each year. A full colour catalogue is available each year allowing those who could not attend the exhibition an opportunity to see all the work.
